Our thoughts on COP21 and the historic agreement by almost 200 nations to lower carbon emissions is that it is a great first step. We must now do the work to make real change. We suspect most governments will put in some form of carbon tax which may help in a small degree because all that is is a license for the rich polluters to keep polluting. Our hope is the tax money will go to fund new technologies to replace fossil fuels. We also hope funding massive waste diversion programs and since we know food waste rotting in landfills is a large producer of GHG that far more is done to restrict organics from landfills. One thing I am sure is together we can accomplish this monumental task and make the world a better place for all of us.
